Alert of Local Developer Actively Working on the Ridge

The Board of the WPRRA has been approached by a local developer who is actively working on the Ridge, more to the east end specifically. We will continue to stay on top of this ongoing issue and ensure that our long fought for zoning remains as RH (R1).

Although nothing has been presented to the City, we want to be proactive and ensure the residents all along the Ridge are aware and prepared for what may happen.

There will be discussion at Earth Day BBQ as well as at our AGM in June. At our 2023 and 2024 AGM’s, the issue of density and development has been the main topic of discussion and voted against the possibility of Bill 44.
